Welcome to Karuta Sportswear, an independent, family-owned sportswear brand specialising in bespoke playing kits and teamwear across all sports. Founded in 2016, Karuta Sportswear was created with one clear mission: to deliver high quality, custom sportswear to every level of the game, without the premium price tag.
Our commitment to quality, design, and service has helped us grow into a trusted name within the sporting community. In 2020, we were incredibly proud to be awarded North Somerset New Business of the Year for companies under five years old. Being recognised by respected business professionals was a truly humbling moment and a testament to the passion and hard work behind the Karuta Sportswear name.
The name Karuta is inspired by a form of Japanese armour worn during the feudal era, a symbol of protection, strength, and readiness for battle. In every sport and discipline, athletes put on their kit to compete, and in doing so, they enter the arena ready to face their opponents. Karuta is designed to be part of that moment.
We proudly supply professional and amateur sports teams, as well as schools, colleges, societies, and organisations. We are also honoured to have provided kit for international & national teams across a variety of sports.
